Dawson Campus Cell Phone:

To ensure smooth communication between school and home,
please use the following number to call or text if you need to get
in touch with your student during school hours:
470-539-7316
This phone will be monitored Monday through Thursday, from
3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
When calling or texting, please include your name and your
student's name so we can assist you promptly.
We hope this will help strengthen our connection with families
and support student success.

Bell Schedule:
To promote greater consistency, monitor student progress more
effectively, and ensure students receive the support they need to
reach their goals, we are asking students to remain in their first-
choice class of the evening for a minimum of 50 minutes before
moving to their second, third, and fourth choice classes in order.
We understand that exceptions will arise. For instance, some
students may arrive specifically to take a quiz or test and may not
need to stay the full 50 minutes. (Please note: this is not a
comprehensive list of possible exceptions.)

School Safety & Operational Practices:

  • Daily Safety Wand Scans: Every student will be scanned with a

safety wand upon entering the building each day.

  • Backpack Policy: Traditional backpacks and large purses will not be

permitted beyond the front desk.

  • Clear Bag Option: Students may bring clear backpacks. Additionally

we have ordered clear drawstring bags that will be provided when
needed.

  • Storage Option: Students may leave their backpacks in the office

upon entering and retrieve them when exiting the building, if
necessary.

  • Dismissal Procedure for Car Riders: Students being picked up from

school will wait in their classrooms until their parent or guardian
arrives. They will no longer wait in the lobby area.
