Student Handbook

The Dawson Campus is excited to welcome new Principal, Cindy Kinney. Mrs. Kinney is a native of Hall County. She has worked in the Dawson County School System for 30 years serving as a Teacher, Instructional Lead Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. She currently serves as the Principal of Black’s Mill Elementary School.

Mrs. Kinney’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from North Georgia College, a Master of Arts from Piedmont College, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.

Mrs. Kinney strives to add value to others. Her goal is to always find ways to serve and support. She believes that we are better together which is why she focuses on building relationships. Connections, collaboration, and relationships are key to success.

Mrs. Kinney is married to Brian Kinney. They have two children Andrew and Anna Leigh. Mrs. Kinney enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, and traveling.

Legacy SAP is offering 6 counseling sessions for Mountain Education Students for $10 a year! Students of Mountain Education have the opportunity to receive short term counseling services as part of the Student Assistance Program (SAP). Sessions are offered in person or virtually.
