A family photo in front of Santa.
What a great night at our Holiday dinner!
Have you had any other interesting or funny job experiences outside of education?
Yes! I served in the Army after high school, which gave me the opportunity to travel the world and gain valuable real-world experience. I also made lifelong friends during that time. My military background gave me a lot of perspective that I brought into the classroom, especially when teaching social studies. When I moved back to Georgia, I worked in the carpet mills for several years in a variety of roles, and I think those experiences also help me to understand the majority of the students I serve and their families.
