Legacy SAP is offering 6 counseling sessions for Mountain Education Students for $10 a year! Students of Mountain Education have the opportunity to receive short term counseling services as part of the Student Assistance Program (SAP). Sessions are offered in person or virtually. At the recent MECHS Leadership Summit, the Rabun campus was recognized with the Rabun Bald Award for the Highest Graduate Percentage Goal for the East Region! Congratulations to the faculty and staff for earning this distinguished honor!

The Northeast Georgia Food Bank, under the leadership of Mr. James Brim, donated several items to add to the students' Christmas bags.

Mr. James Brim, Mountain Branch Director of the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia is pictured with Dr. Brandy Corbett, a Site Director at Rabun Mountain Education Charter High School. Mr. Brim provided a tour of the facility and made a donation for the Christmas bags for our students. Thank you so much for the support of our students and community!

  • The Compass Award is named after Sir Edmund Hillary, the adventurist & mountaineer from New Zealand who in 1953 became the first person to reach the summit of Mt. Everest.
