Major Beth Darnell, Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, kicked off our Fall Student Appreciation Days with a presentation about her job responsibilities and other job positions at the Detention Center. Her presentation included visuals of the cells as well as actual items that are issued to prisoners. The students were amazed at the lack of privacy in the jail cells and restrooms.
