Student Handbook

At Mountain Education, we strive to address the needs of the whole student. This encompasses all aspects of the child's well-being including social-emotional. On Thursday, March 7, our counselors will conduct a session using the Signs of Suicide program to talk with our students about suicide awareness and prevention.

Signs of Suicide (SOS) is an evidence-based youth prevention program designed to teach students how to identify signs of depression and suicide in themselves and their peers, equipping them with tools to understand and express their behavioral health concerns with trusted adults.

This program has demonstrated a 64% reduction in self-reported suicide attempts. If you would like more information about Signs of Suicide, please contact our counselors, or You may also use the link to visit the website for more information and resources for parents.

Although it is just February, summer will be here soon! This year, Mountain Education campuses will be closed during June. However, that doesn't mean that students can't earn credits during this time. Mountain Education will host Virtual Summer School during June and July. If you are interested in attending virtual summer school, please talk with your teachers, mentor, or counselor about this opportunity.
